Carnival!

The Carnival parade in Panjim is held on the Saturday of the Carnival week. Every year, we dress up in costume and head down to Top Gear pub where we proceed to ignore the entire parade and instead throw colour, water, eggs, beer and pretty much anything else in easy reach, on each other.

Lazy Sundays

Aren't Lazy Sundays the best? I haven't had a nice lazy Sunday in a looooonngg time...  These are a few photos from a beautiful Sunday in November... I think it had just rained the day before and so the visibility was great and the skies really blue... we took a drive up to North Goa... The Morjim-Ashvem area across the river Chapora.

Monte Music Festival

This is my favorite chapel in Goa, The chapel of Our Lady of the Mount, in Old Goa (popularly known as the Monte Chapel). Every year, in the first week of February, The Fundacao Oriente,  hosts a classical music festival here.
